MR. HAKEEM ADEKUNLE OSHO
AGM, Divisional Head, Finance and Strategy
With over 30 years of experience spanning auditing and banking, Mr. Osho has built a distinguished career grounded in operational excellence, leadership, and strategic development.
He began his professional journey in 1995 with S.S. Afemike & Co., a Chartered Accounting firm, as an Audit Assistant. In 1997, he joined the defunct People’s Bank of Nigeria (PBN) as a Deputy Manager. Following the merger of PBN with the Nigerian Agricultural Cooperative Bank (NACB) and the assets of FEAP, he transitioned into the newly formed Bank of Agriculture, where he rose through the ranks to become Assistant General Manager.
Over the years, Mr. Osho has held several key positions across various zones and branches of the Bank, including:
- Zonal Auditor for North East (Maiduguri), Lagos Area, Benin/Port Harcourt Zones, and South West (Ibadan)
 - Head of Operations – Agodi Branch, Ibadan
 - Head of Credit – Shomolu Branch, Lagos
 - Branch Head – Ajegunle, Epe, Ago-Iwoye, and Abeokuta branches (2006–2023)
 - Zonal Manager, South West – Appointed April 2023
 - Head, Branch & Zonal Management (North) – Appointed November 2024
 - Divisional Head, Finance and Strategy – Since March 2025
 
Mr. Osho holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Jos (1991), an M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Lagos (1995), and an MBA from the University of Benin (2005). He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN).
He has also attended numerous professional courses and workshops in auditing, credit administration, financial management, and strategic leadership.
