Wednesday 13th day of May, 2020 the interim Management of Bank of Agriculture Limited officially handed over to the new Acting Managing Director /CEO, Alwan Ali Hassan.

The outgoing Managing Director/CEO Kabir Mohammed Adamu while handing over congratulated and welcomed the incoming Acting Managing Director/CEO and enjoined him to continue where he stopped.

In his address, he, gave a brief history of the Bank and its success story while highlighting some major challenges the Bank has been facing for quite a while. He pleaded with all staff of the Bank to give him their maximum cooperation.

Responding, the incoming Ag. MD/CEO expressed his profound gratitude to God, for the opportunity to serve the Bank in this capacity and promised to put in his best. He however, made it point blank that he has come to work and nothing else; and requested for full cooperation of all staff, while sharing with them his 4R agenda: RESTRUCTURING, RECAPITALIZATION, RENEWAL and RECOVERY. As such all hands must be on deck for the tasks that lay ahead.

The outgoing Executive Director, Partnership and Strategy Prof. Gabriel Okenwa in a closing remark appreciated all staff for their inputs and the good working relationship they had with the senior management while their tenure lasted.

He however assured the new Ag. MD/CEO of staff loyalty, effectiveness and intelligence despite the challenges they were facing. He Once again congratulated and wished the Ag. MD/CEO fruitful tenure.
