Akile Bologo joined the services of Bank of Agriculture in 1999 and has served as Branch Manager in several locations across the nation before his deployment to Financial Control Department in the Bank’s Head Office in 2013 where he pioneered the expansion of digitization of the Bank’s financial reporting, extending it to field offices. He also served as the anchor man in the clean-up of financial records of the Bank.
He was later deployed to Strategy and Performance Management Department to upgrade the development of the Bank’s strategy for sustainable and enhanced performance based service.
Mr. Bologo has served on several strategic committees in the Bank including the Committee on Review of co-efficient for agricultural lending and Committee on Clean-up of Variances. He also served as a member of the Project Implementation Unit of the Capacity Building and Institutional strengthening of BOA project sponsored by the African Development Bank (AfDB).
He has attended several seminars and workshops in Management, Credit, Finance, Project Management, Financial inclusion and Strategy.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education (Accounting Option) from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and a Masters in Treasury Management from Bayero University, Kano.
He is a veteran administrator, financial specialist, procurement expert and management strategist.
