OGARAWU ANSELM CHIDIEBERE

Ogarawu Anselm Chidiebere joined the services of Bank of Agriculture in 1998 as a Branch Manager after three months practical training. After merger, he was deployed to South East Zonal Office, Enugu as the lending Officer. He worked to streamline the disbursement process in the branches within the Zone that made tracking disbursement seamless.
Later, he was deployed to the Head Office in 2004 where he served as the Personal Assistant to the Executive Director, Corporate Services, who represented the Bank at the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture (KADCIMA), he served as Secretory to the Seminar Organizing Committee as well as that of the Heads of Department in the Directorate of the Corporate Services.
He was later deployed to the Bank’s Zaria Branch as Head, Retail Banking, where he strengthen the Bank’s accounting records. On creation of the Internal Control Department, he was deployed as the pioneer Resident Internal Control Officer (RICO) in Umuahia Branch. He worked to raise the Branch’s Audit Rating to 80% far above what he met (23%).
Mr Ogarawu was later deployed to Head, Office as Personal Assistant to the Executive Director, Strategy & Performance Management and at the same time working in the Strategy & Performance Management Department. He pioneered and deployed the template for monthly performance tracking of operations of the Bank’s Strategic Business Units. Thus setting the pace for PMS.
He served in one of the Bank’s Strategic Committees – Committee on Restructuring and Recapitalization as secretary. Currently, he is the Head, Corporate Communication Department and Nodal Officer of the Bank’s SERVICOM Unit. He has attended several Seminars and Workshops in Management, Finance, Internal Control, Performance Management System and loans.
He holds Master’s Degree in Business Mnagement majoring in Finance and Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from Ahmadu Bello University. Zaria. He also holds Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy from Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana, Afikpo, Ebonyi State.
He is a seasoned Strategist.
