BOA collaborates with FMARD on Agric Mechanization Programme
The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (FMARD) in conjunction with the Bank of Agriculture Limited (BOA) in pursuit of the Federal Government’s National Agricultural Technology and innovation Policy (NAPTIP) has created an enabling environment for a Public Private Partnership (PPP) for Agricultural Mechanization with a view to rendering mechanization services to Nigerian farmers Nationwide.
In the proposed arrangement, the Mechanization Service Provider shall provide 40% of the total cost of Tractor and implement as down payment before they are off-taken and the balance of 60% will be paid over three (3) years tenor inclusive of three (3) months moratorium
